Christmas Time

I just wanted to share a few of my thoughts as we are in this Christmas season. I want all of you to know that I know that Jesus Christ was born into the world a little over 2000 years ago. As it says in Luke "Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward all men." I know that He is our Savior and that He died for all of us and atoned for all of our sins. I am grateful for this time of year that we can remember His birth and His life.
I know that he is truly the perfect example and that we should all strive to be like Him. As it says in the children's song I am trying to be like Jesus: "I’m trying to be like Jesus; I’m following in his ways. I’m trying to love as he did, in all that I do and say. At times I am tempted to make a wrong choice, But I try to listen as the still small voice whispers, Love one another as Jesus loves you. Try to show kindness in all that you do. Be gentle and loving in deed and in thought, For these are the things Jesus taught."

I encourage all of us this coming year to be more Christlike to each other. I encourage all of us to come together closer as a family.

Love,
Jeremy
