Since everyone will know soon enough... I might as well make it official and tell you. When I went to the Temple to take pictures of this wedding tonight I was very excited for something new. Ryan and I realized that there was another photographer with a really big camera who was there as well taking pictures of their family while they were waiting for the couple to come out of the Temple.So, feeling used, misguided, and foolish... I decided that we should just leave. I figured that since I had spoke with the Bride yesterday that maybe the new Mother-In-Law had hired a professional and she didn't know about it. I can only speculate though. I just feel really defeated right now and it's so insulting to me since I was going to do this for free! I feel like someone just slapped me in the face. Perhaps, this is a talent that would do better hidden away again.
Ryan sure looked pretty with the dead flowers though! Perhaps, this was a sign.

Don't give up that easily Val. You will get a break if you keep working at it. Don't let this one incident cause you to "put away" your talent. Keep practicing with tecnique and continue to learn. You know who would have us all give up on ourselves.
